Brewed in the style of a Belgian Wit. A special blend of coriander, orange zest and unmalted wheat help to make this a remarkably refreshing summer beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 11/7/2015. Pours hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming after the finish as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very good witbier. All around good balance and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, March 19, 2013, poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear light golden with small bright white head. Aroma is nice light coriander, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is malty, some coriander, and hints of orange.

Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is wheat, overripe orange. Taste is wheaty, fairly weak citrus. Almost a lager-graininess to it. Pretty poor.

Bottle @ home, from an eight pack Lakefront variety box. Fairly clear (filtered?), golden appearance with almost a nonexistent white head. Spicy, bready yeasty, orange citrusy aroma. Tangy, syrupy, orange citrusy, somewhat spicy, wheat malty flavor. Not overly offensive but still one of the worst witbiers I’ve ever had. I hesitate to rate this higher than Bud Light Platinum.

Enjoyed on tap at the Palomino in Milwaukee, WI before eating an awesome burger that came with a \"side\" of jalepeno poppers but there were only 2 poppers! What’s up wit dat??? Anyways, this was was just OK. Appearance is a bright orange/yellow hybrid with a thin white head. In a dimly lit bar it looks like its freaking glow in the dark. Also with an orange slice. Aroma pretty much orange peels and a hint of yeast.
Taste is orange and a very abrupt malt, its like the taste just stops after 1 second. Weirdest thing - take a sip, get the orange peel/belgian yeast flavor, then there’s nothing. Wouldn’t have again but not bad.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly's, 3/15/10
Aroma: Lots of spice/coriander, some orange, lemon, and wheat
Appearance: Looks like I got me an overflowing beer here...This one poured a cloudy straw-yellow color with an enormous foamy white head that fills the glass long before the bottle is empty and leaves lots of lace
Flavor: Taste is dull spiciness and faded orange and lemon, pretty weak flavor
Palate: This beer is light and quite watery with a dull mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Certainly not a great beer by any means. I wasn't particularly impressed by this from the first pour, and I remained unimpressed. The big coriander nose seemed pretty decent, but the flavor and palate where pretty weak and watery. Overall, this beer wasn't really my thing.

Very clear transparent golden coloured body with a very large white head and millions of small bubbles rising from the side and bottom. Aside from the colour - the beer looks great! Aroma of coriander seed, hay, grass, yeast, sugar and a bit of apricots. Light-bodied; Very effervescent with a pungent wheat and yeast flavour and a strong spicey flavour very noticeable up front. Aftertaste is more rounded with a little bit of sugars and fruit noticeable, but the bitter spices and funky yeast still shows through. Overall, a pretty interesting wit - too many spices, not enough colour in the appearance and not enough complexity, but still a decent beer for the middle of summer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased on 11-June-2009 from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York, sampled on 14-July-2009 at home in Washington.

Bottle. Hazy, dark yellow body with an off-white frothy head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is spicy, dominated by coriander and clove, with hints of lemon and orange peel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter with just a touch of tartness. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. An OK wit with a little too much spice.
