Sampled at Boise’s Imperial Stout get together, over 120 bottles to choose from. Going with the flow on this rating. This was one of my contributions to the event.

22 ounce bottle. Opaque black color. Small fluffy tan head. Rich espresso malt aroma has notes of bittersweet chocolate and charcoal as well. First sip is rich dark roasted malt, with hints of espresso, charred wood and chocolate liqueur. Complex and bittersweet, the underlying smokiness stays with this all the way through. Big chewy mouthfeel finishes like a rich, bitter espresso. Very tasty and unique. Definitely worth seeking out!

Bottle - Light peat notes, chocolate and a bit of soy. Jet black with a rich brown head. Heavy roast, dark molasses, peat, plum and balanced finish. Although not a smoked beer, you do get it in the flavor profile. These guys are awesome.

65 cl bottle @ home as ”Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer”
Aroma is rather light with and somewhat sweet with roastiness and some cocoa notes. Also some milk chocolate. Flavour has sweet cocoa, vanilla and some milk chocolate. Last sip felt like a salmiac powder. Like a chocolate sombrero without chili. Sweetness rules here but not bad still. A sweet slow sipper.
