Bottle poured and shared at a tasting. Huge thanks to Maxxdaddy for sharing this. Rating from notes. Pours black with a patchy tan head. Huge dark fruit, light chocolate aroma. A little on the chalky side, caramel malt, wine barrel hints. Very nice, unique touch to the imperial stout style. Awesome stuff.

Bottle shared in NYC - big thanks to Sander. Pours deep black-brown with a dense, tight beige cream head. The nose has some toasted marshmallows, burnt wood, red currants. Medium sweet flavor with lightly astringent coffee, earthy bitterness, baking cocoa, a bit of old scorched wood, aged and lightly leathery fruits. Full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Warming finish with notes of baking cocoa, present alcohol, burnt wood, raisins, some gooey chocolate, more currants. Not bad.
