Aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruits, hint of liquorice, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Better than most mega-sweet winter beers.

Bottle #118- 2013. Reddish brown color. Floral biscuity aroma with some red fruit. Malty sweetish flavor with hints of roast and spices, Soft red fruit. Floral hops. Well balanced and tasty beer.

Gushing!! Trübes orangebraunes Bier mit sehr viel beigem Schaum. Geruch nach reifen Früchten, Karamell, floral, dezent hopfig. Geschmack hefig, würzig, reife Früchte, etwas viel CO2, Karamell.

Very malty christmas beer with some herbs and a mild bitterness. Nice, but not great.

Bottle shared at Dean’s Winter Shelter Tasting. Pours clear red brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of malts, caramel, overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle @ Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Clwar deep dark red color, small off - white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly bitter, lightly hops, lightly herbs or spices. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin off white head. The aroma is weak yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt yeast palate. Not sure where the Christmas fruit is.
