Clear amber red color with large frothy head. Aroma is very malty with notes of caramel, nuts, spices and grapefruit. Tastes of vanilla, spices and some light citrus bitterness. Very well balanced.

Appearance: Cloudy amber color with a thick tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Deep malty, rich hoppy and some fruity.
Palate: Full body. A bit sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Deep malty, tropical fruity and rich (grape) hoppy. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Power beer. Maybe a bit too sweet. Anyway a lovely evening sipper.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, torkad frukt, farinsocker. Välbalanserad men alldeles för söt som förstör helheten.

Bottle thanks to a trade. Pours a clear deep caramel amber with a caramel head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of sweet grains and caramel cut by a nice pine and resin note. Flavor is similar with a combination of caramel and pine with some sweet grains and a touch of resin.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a fairly clear deep amber with a thick off white head. Floral hop aroma. Grassy hop notes over a malt backbone with hints of spruce. Bitter finish.

65 cl bottle @ O’Hara’s Freehouse. Rated on 19.03.2010
Aroma is sweetish with hops, caramel, exotic fruits and some toffee. Flavour is also quite hoppy with lots of fruits, caramel, some grainy notes and hints of spices. A bit too much on the sweet side, I prefer the refreshing summer version.

65 cl bottle (8,5%) @ home.
A fresh bottle, not too much on the sweet side now. But I guess it would be in couple of months.

Bomber bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear deep amber with a frothy dark beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is malty, fruity and hoppy with biscuits, grapefruit rinds, oily pine, resinous wood, apricots, tangerines, oily citrus zest, lime curd, cereal, black currant jam, alcohol, overripe tropical fruits and caramel. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty, fruity, herbal and hoppy with biscuits, caramel, sweet dark bread, oily pine, resinous wood, grapefruit rinds, dried apricots, orange marmalade, overripe papaya, overripe pineapple, overripe mango, lime curd, black currant jam and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, oily bitter, tiny astringent, tiny boozy and near full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter, malty, fruity and hoppy with biscuits, sweet dark bread, oily pine, resinous wood, grapefruit rinds, orange zest, overripe tropical fruits, like curd, black currants leaves, toffee and hints of alcohol. Malty hoppy greatness!

Bomber. Pours hazy amber with a medium beige head with great retention. Aroma is piney, grapefruity hoppy. Taste is hoppiness and bready malts balanced pretty evenly. Smooth. Carbonation is medium and the body is full; mouthfeel is creamy. Really good and well made.
