12 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is black coffee, toast, pecan, and burnt pine. Dry and malty, with a big, roasty bitterness. Light to medium body, sticky, grainy, and a bit acidic. Bold, and tasty enough.

Total wine and more. Drank right from the can but I can see its a really dark beer. From a can this smells like coffee. Yep, looks like cold black coffee and it tastes like cold black coffee. Yep, it's cold black carbonated coffee, what else would you expect?

Really dark. Smells like cold brew coffee. Roasty coffee flavors. Semi dry. This works better than most coffee stouts I've had, which seem thinned out and watery because of the coffee. But this one was not, it had just enough malt presence to give it body.

Lots of coffee. Mostly coffee in fact. Black pour with good head and lacing. Some roast, light dark chocolate. Bitter finish.

Lovely little coffee stout. Starts with a burst of milk chocolate sweetness, then quickly gains a heavy coffee acidity mixed with bitter chocolate and char, underlined by dark fruit and hints of black licorice. Finishes dry, with a lengthy black coffee bite laced with vanilla and roast. Tasty.

Keg at the brewpub, RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Mahogany brown with a tan head. Nose is big on coffee grinds, spice, biscuit, chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises less prominent coffee but still well evident, earthy roast, toffee, chocolate biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee fuelled stoot.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is coffee and roast. Similar flavor to nose with nice bready malt and cocoa, very nice.
