Berliner Weisse with Yuzu

Bubbly Creek Yuzu is a beautiful, bright Berliner Weiss amplified with Yuzu, a Japanese fruit similar to a lemon; think lemonade with a touch of grapefruit rind, rosemary and chardonnay. Bubbly Creek Yuzu is 4% ABV and ready for you

Bubbly Creek is one of our first beers using a unique house yeast strain that ferments out at room temp. It revolutionized souring and is now manufactured at @omegayeast . It is used in breweries all over the world . Artwork by our buddy @paul_nudd

This beer pours a slightly hazy pinkish-yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Citrus, yeast and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of lemon, wheat, yeast and yuzu. The finish is mildly tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a tiny white head. Nose is huge on the yuzu, with loads of citric notes. Flavour is huge on the citric notes, with puckering citrus notes dominating. Light palate - dominated by intense citrus. Not so good, but it's inoffensive.
