Bright, Dank, Colossal…exactly what you expect with a hop bill of Mosaic and Simcoe. Get your nose in the glass and the aromatics will overwhelm you like the double-overhead closeouts down at Hammerland.

Straw colour, and a bit hazy. Bubbly head. Ok, it actually does smell like the label says - berries and weed. Also clean pale malts.Bitter, dry, pale malt, finishes weedy, with some berries, grapefruit rind, touch of lychee. Delicious. All over this.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank, piney hops, and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of dank, piney hops, and backed by dry biscuity malt. Dank, piney and hempy. Really great stuff.

22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up malt infused lime, grapefruit, a dash of mango and a fair degree of spicy onion like hops. The taste begins with a firm unloading of bitter grapefruit and other citrus hops, near resiny spicy onion like hops, grassy hops and a moderate level of juicy mango and cantaloupe. To midway the malt base hits with sweetness that tries to disrupt matters and unhinge the bitter hops from the mild juiciness. The malt base manages to hold this together but it could have been done more gracefully and harmoniously. In the big picture that’s a minor point (and keeps this from being a stellar experience) in a really good tasty hoppy brew that I would certainly have again.

Sample at Tony’s Darts Away. Clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draught @ Festival of Dankness, San Diego. Aroma is mild with sweet fruity tones. Flavour has sweet pineapples, some gluey tones and sweet resiny malt. Finishes with menthol. Decent, the glue disturbs a bit here.
