The beer is a medium brown. Pretty clear. Beige head. Some Belgian red character with a fun barrel twist to it. Caramel, light fruity malt. Medium sour. Light feel. Good stuff.

Bottle @ Steve_0 during my 10k tick fest. Thanks! Pours a murky purple appearance with a tan head. Slightly acetic, raspberry, oak, woody, spicy nose. Twangy, tart berry flavor. The rum adds some booze and spiciness. Quite a bit of berries. Fine.

Poured from a bottle at the brewery. Aroma is similar to a Flanders red with a lot of tart cherry and berry notes complimented by some oak with toasted bread and caramel notes. Pours a copper color with an auburn note and a moderately sized, somewhat thick tan head that exhibits nice retention as it recedes to the edges and lingers. Flavor is moderately acidic with some nice slightly malty caramel and toasted bread notes. Some lighter fruit notes than in the aroma with a lot of cherry and berry with hints of plum and raisin. Low bitterness and hints of cheese. Light oak notes and bits of grapes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer with lots of fruit notes and complimentary oak and malt character. Reminds me of one of the more authentic Flanders style beers.

On tap at De Garde. Pours a dark copper color with a medium thick white head. A big sweet rum and sour porter type nose. The flavor is acidic, sharp sourness, woody, balanced out by sweet rum and dark fruit. Solid.
