Tap at Winterbierfestival Gouda as ’Winterbock’ but it was super obviously a wrong keg. Hazy light straw with white head. Dough, corainder seeds, light lemon, banana yeast, light milky dough. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel. Not very good, but a nice break between all these brown sugar winterbier bombs.

Bottle. More or less clear in the glass, golden color and a minimal sized white head. The aroma is quite grainy, with orange peel and coriander notes. Some citrus hints. It’s tasting more or less the same, some bitterness towards the end. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation level. Quite dry on the palate. Citrus and coriander in the finish. Utterly boring, but far from foul. 140117
