A big american pale ale overgrown with all the american hops we could dig up.
Dripping with dank, American hop flavors and aromas, Overgrown is balanced by a subtle, sweet malt backbone that takes a back seat to the bountiful hop additions. A celebration of the hop-growing season, this one will tangle up your taste buds.

Pours an amber from a bottle with a white head, good lacing. Pushing the boundary of what isn’t an IPA. Hoppy aroma, hoppy flavor, some sweet malt. I guess it’s an APA. Good beer regardless.

Found a light green stamped date at the bottom of the neck reads \"07/24/2015\"
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a decent transparency about it. Foamy lacing occurs in rings after a one finger white foamy head dissipated after about a minute.
The smell starts off with juicy citrus and thick piney hops bursting with hop oils.
The taste follows the smell and leads into a nice thick juicy citrus/piney aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability despite the bitterness of the hops in the taste and smell. With an oily thickness, this one really stays slick on my tongue to make a really nice session.
Overall, I may have found my go to APA in Vermont. Really good stuff!

Very crisp copper coloured body with a light brown and brone tint, all with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of dank hops with a very resinous and piney scent and a deep caramel and earthy malt aroma. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour at first that isn’t bitter, just flavourful of resin and citrus fruit and a well-balanced malt bite coupled with a faint hint of apricot and stone fruit sweetness. Aftertaste shows a good balance of the hops and malt with more of an emphasis on floral and piney notes throughout. Overall, a very nice APA and a good balance with a refreshing easy-to-drink quality make this a nice option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 31-January-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 24-February-2015.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Hazy yellow with a white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with tropical fruits and citrus. Flavor of nice fruity hops, rather dry, with good piney bitterness. Light to medium-bodied. Very nice.

Strong cat piss aroma, as if the cat had gotten into an asparagus patch. My cat loves asparagus, so I know how this smells. Very pungent! Hazy amber, medium head, good lacing. Lilly and cat piss flavor initially which gives way to malt hiding underneath, a welcome transition. Medium body easy carbonation. Well made, and certainly interesting, but I really don’t like the hop bill.

Bottle from The Lazy Dog Slightly hazy light golden color with a frothy white head that shows moderate retention. Moderate earthy minty resinous pine hop with plenty of bready crackery malt to back it up. The flavor starts off bready malty sweet but the hops push that aside rather quickly. Spicy earthy resinous hops build towards a lingering spicy almost peppery finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Nice hop fest going on here, I enjoyed this.
