A big american pale ale overgrown with all the american hops we could dig up.
Dripping with dank, American hop flavors and aromas, Overgrown is balanced by a subtle, sweet malt backbone that takes a back seat to the bountiful hop additions. A celebration of the hop-growing season, this one will tangle up your taste buds.

Bottle at home in CT - picked up in VT. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds some pale bread, lightly tangy tangerine, mandarin orange, grapefruit, hay. Lite-medium sweet flavor with semi-dry, biscuity pale malts, nips of white bread, bitter citrus rind, pith, slight grass, more tangerine, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty nicely balanced to finish with more lightly bitter citrus pith, some dry pale malt ballast lemon rind, grapefruit, dirty hay, grass, mellow pine needles. Perfectly acceptable.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head recedes to mottle surface. Cat piss aromas. Sharp with bready caramel and bitter earthy hops upfront turning to mild pith in the lasting finish.

OK, so its not as mouth coating as an IPA. However, even tho it starts out rather light and mild, it evolves into a sharp hop bitter thing that lasts for a while after the session ends. Yes, I’ve tasted IPA that were less rude htan this little powder keg.

12oz bottle pours a clear gold with some ringing, sticky, white head. Nose has some nice tangerine notes, mild malt, soap, a little citrus tea. Flavor is malty, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, tangerine, a little blood orange, spritzy mild pine. Crisp finish. Solid beer. Very sessionable.

12 oz. bottle, cloudy gold with light head retention. Aroma is lightly dank, hemp, light pine and light grass. Flavor runs right along with the nose.

Body has pale grain base with the grassy hops upfront with a nice citrus burst mid-sip, leading into a pine finish. The body is medium with a lively tingle over the tongue. Texture is lightly oily. Extremely easy drinking APA.
