Draft at EBF. Pours black tan head. Nose/taste of coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruit, raisin and roast - medium body.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours oily black with a thick, brown head. The nose holds heavy molasses, chocolate, roasted malts. Medium to big sweet flavor, cloying and sticky, with burnt molasses, roasted malts, chocolate, ripe dark fruits. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Some tangy charred wood on the finish, more sugary ripe dark fruits, berries, lots more thick and chewy molasses. So so. A bit heavy handed and clumsy.
