The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours black with a creamy head. Aroma is vanilla. Taste is way too much vanilla. Not a fan. Maybe I would be if I like vanilla more.

750 ml bottle. Pitch black color with huge lasting head that lasted for days. Aroma is huge amounts vanilla. Almost smells like a shot of syrup you would add to a Starbucks coffee. Flavor is similar. The texture of the beer has a chalky mouthfeel with a mild artificial note.

Poured from bottle thanks Adrian. Color is dark brown black with 2 finger tan head. Aroma of vanilla up front. Taste is sweet with a syrup like vanilla flavor. After taste is like a chalky vanilla necco wafer.

Dark brown to black 2 finger off-white head. There’s a ton of vanilla in this one. It’s sweet, syrupy almost, just more vanilla than I’ve probably ever smelled in a beer. Tastes just like it smells. so much vanilla but the finish is a little weird. medicinal, chalky and gets weird. but there’s a lot of Pros here.
