Taster. Pours a clear, light brown, with a big, foamy, tan head. The nose is toast, light pine, cardamom, and cardboard. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Light, crisp, and a bit watery. Weak, but not too bad.

Kind of interesting. Not very lager like. Quite sweet. It’s ok. Green apple.

The lighting in this bar is weird but this coloration is strange. Bright yet clear amber? Nose and tastes of almost nothing. Body is water. Maybe some malt on finish that lets you know not nothing.

I was expecting something gold but it poured orange-gold, a quick search online revealed it is styled as an American Amber lager which explains things. It had a grainy sweet aroma was fairly full bodied and smooth with a biscuity flavor and a crisp noble hop herbal bite with touches of honey in the finish. Lots of flavor for 4%, balanced and crushable.

Can from Wegman’s. A light copper pale lager, with caramel malt nose and taste. Grainy finish. Unexceptional session beer.

Draft at Jack Rose Dining Saloon for CBC 2017. Poured a golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma was some light caramel notes, some bready notes, herbal hops. Light earthy hop notes, muted orange with some sweet malt grain finish.

Draft at brewery. Darker golden body, small head, lots of lacing. Nice grainy aroma, pretty solid. Taste and body are superb, velvety feel, nice grainy aroma. One of the best lagers I’ve had.

12oz can dated 12/22/16. Clear, very light copper color. This is in the style of old American amber lagers, which basically means standard lager that a few hues darker. So, it’s a basic pale lager. For he style, it’s decent with lightly sweet malt, cleanish, fresh. A little flabby and dull. But not much to discuss about.
