The other lager. A rich amber brown pour has a bread backbone that is balanced by a variety of German style hops.

Tap at Double Nickel. True to style. Filtered, but lots of deep medium dark malt tones. Pretzel, caramel. Good.

Can compliments of TongoRad. Thanks Michael!
It pours a lovely copper colour, nice head of foam with some lacing behind.
Smells of bread, lemon citrus, more actually noble hop like.
Tastes even better than it smells. Nice bready malt backbone with the hops again resembling noble hop like character. Finishes bready and that's the way I like it, especially for the style.
Good mouthfeel, overall, an excellent example of the style.

On tap at Alchemist & Barrister in Princeton, NJ. Amber orange pour. Small creamy beige head. Grainy toasted malt aroma. Flavor follows nose with nutty, spicy notes. A touch of caramel and lightly browned butter. Decent.

At the source: pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is light caramel and lemon. Taste is lemony and metallic. Hopped aftertaste with some bitterness. Not terrible.
