Huge, dense, rather stable yellowish head over hazy, finely carbonated darker orange-amber beer. Floral & fruity nose, advertising liberal use of USA hops. Exotic fruit, oranges, hopoils. Bitter-fruity, hop-dominated flavour. Maltbacking is adequate for MF, but hardly attains the flavour - just a bit of caramelly cake. Finishes a tad soapy. Very slick, oily, rather well-bodied impression; spritzy. Good one. For all the world an IPA to me. --- Beer aliased from original tick of SchuppenAas Hergist Met Brettanomyces on 30 Apr 2023 at 08:51 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Cream head, fast gone over well-carbonated, opaque ochre-orange beer. Alcohol (!), Bretts, molded orangepeel, old citrusleaves, bit dank. First some aromatic, almost perfumey flavours, almondy, then dull citrus flavour. Kitchen vegetables. Faint alcoholwarmth (?!), quite slick, medium bodied, quite well-carbonated. The Bretts seriously alter the character, but if it is really better thus?

Dark amber colour. The aroma has initial Brett then some sweet, fruity hop. Flavour has the spicy yeast and light sharpness. Becomes fruity, hoppy and dry in the finish.

Bottle @ Cafe D’n Bel, Bladel. Hazy reddish color, full sized creamy off-white to beige head that lasts for a long while. Smell lightly malts, some herbs or spices, fruityness. Taste lightly malty, fruity, some bitterness. Medium carbonation, medium body.

Amber couleur, nice white head. Complex beer. Fruity and a bit sour (brett). Very well balanced and full of taste.

11/XI/2012 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 13/IX/14 (2012-1186) Thanks to Erwin for sharing all today's beers!

Little cloudy amber to copper beer, big irregular aery head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: bit floral piny, some citrus, resin, sweet, some overripe fruits, sewers, something is pretty off, sourish. MF: too much carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, citrus, lemony, pretty bitter, piny resin flavours, grapefruit. Aftertaste: bit sweet, malty, pretty bitter, still fruity, grapefruit, bit cheesy, something off. Good try to make something different, but it's not completely there yet.
