In 1998, Hugues Dubuisson introduced a new Bush aimed at lovers of blonde beer. The launch commemorated the 65th anniversary of the Bush Caractère, introduced to the market all those years ago by his grandfather, Alfred.

And thus the Bush Triple was born. This filtered, top-fermented beer fits into the ranks alongside the Bush Caractère and the Bush de Noël. The Bush Triple is the fruit of the same expertise and the same house yeast. However, this blonde has her own unique personality.

The use of traditional malt varieties and the well-known Saaz hops gives the beer its clear blonde colour. We see the development of a subtle, but at the same time very well- balanced, palette of aromas and tastes. The lengthy fermentation process increases the alcohol volume to 10.5%, but at the same time produces a beer that is very easy to digest.

Óriási, tartós hab. Színe borostyánsárga kissé homályos. Illata szinte egyáltalán nem érezhető, halvány fűszeres. Íze jól eltalált, fűszeres - komlós, karamellás beütéssel, a háttérből alig előbújó citrusossággal. Nagyon kiegyensúlyozottak az ízek, tökéletes a szénsavassága is. Igen testes sör, de az alkohol diszkréten a háttérben marad.

Bottle. Golden color with white head. Caramel, alcohol, honey, spices in aroma. Honey, malt, fruity esters(oranges), honey, spices. Little bit too much on sweet side, but very good.

Bottle. Almost clear golden colour. Caramelly sweetish and slightly alcoholic aroma. Taste is not very complex, sweetish, caramelly, light alcohol. But otherwise booze is hidden very well. Surprisingly and dangerously drinkable. Quite good.

So, I have this cute, little Scaldis glass that Dickinsonbeer gifted me a few years ago. Its like a champagne coupe glass. Its really not useful for drinking any beer. Meaning, I basically only use it when I have a Dubuisson/Bush beer. I picked up this beer from Bottleworks. Dated 20/02/2016, which I am guessing is best before, hmmmm. It is indeed a blonde beer, as advertised. Aroma is like alcoholic Belgian cake frosting. Flavor is apple candy with alcoholic heft. I mean, how much describing does a Dubuisson/Bush beer. As usual, they are strong and alcoholic but well made otherwise. Esters are always well subdued, malts are tasty and clean but you always feel like you’re drinking high quality Belgian malt liquor.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Slightly hazy, golden colour with a copper tint. Thin, white head. Sweet aroma with spices, yeasts, booze, peach, banana and hay. Taste is sweet. Full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with spices, sweet fruits and a warmth from the alcohol. If the alcohol was 1-2 % lower this would be good. Too much alcohol in this one.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear deep golden (with some floaties), white head. Aroma of sweet sugary fruit or fruit liqueur, with some alcohol. The taste is sweet - simple sugary/malty sweetness with notes of fruit liqueur. Big warming alcohol, quite clean for its strength. Light bitter finish. Not bad, but too simple for its strength, that does not seem to worth it.
