16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Aroma is subtle chocolate, hints of nuts, earth. Flavor is much the same. The chocolate comes out very smooth and rich. Some mild bitterness in the finish. Body is decent for a brown ale that is 5%.

On tap at the brewery. Pours brown. Chocolate, biscuit, little raspberry, touch of orange peel. Full body. Good.

Thanks Corey.
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-dark murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a good pace. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma centered around some soft sweet roasted nuts, somewhat like pecans, then a nice caramel/toffee base. Light earthiness at the end.
The flavor leaned towards the malts fairly nice, nice sweet malt. Roastiness sat a bit further back touching down into a nice blend of the roast to sweet in the aftertaste and riding on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt good.
Overall, excellent brown ale worthy of having again.

Draft - pours brown white head - nose and taste of toffee, cocoa and caramel with toasted nuts - medium body
