Pours clear copper color with off white head. Aromas of toasted malt and caramel with some pine. Pine resin flavor with toasted malt and moderate bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.

My 1st live rate in a long while. This is courtesy of markwise who shipped me some FL goodness in growler format. Thanks Mark. It pours with a slightly hazy deep copper body supporting a nice full tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up citrusy notes like grapefruit and lime peel as well as a thin soft sweet malt backbone. There really isn’t much soft about the flavor. I get grapefruit citrus and pine sap that quickly moves into more and more resiny hop bitterness that leans in the direction more of piney bitterness than citrus. Behind the big hoppy goodness I get a light amount of malt sweetness and a sense of roasted malts. This isn’t a clean refreshing IPA but rather one you can sink you teeth into . . . . over and over again. I will, because thanks to Mark I have 32oz of this tasty elixir. Nice nearly robust resiny IPA.

An orange amber IPA with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, a nice orange pulp malt with nice resinous hops, citrus notes, classic. In mouth, nice resinous floral hops, citrus pulp, grapefruits, intense bitterness. Well done.
