A summer beer flavored with New Zealand hops that give the beer an aroma of Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Cask at King Willliam IV, Leyton. Poured a rather lifeless greenish yellow colour with no head at all. The aroma is kiwi and some more kiwi! The flavour is bitter and not surprisingly with kiwi notes. There is some sourness and spice on the palate. I didnt quite get the Sauvignon Blanc im afraid. A nice try that really doesn’t hit the mark.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy golden. Aroma of lychee, gooseberry and kiwi. Dryish and light bodied with plenty of passion fruit hops. Striking bitterness. Almost aggressive in it’s hoppiness.

Cask @ William IV. Slightly hazy golden body with a thin white head. Distinct fruity aroma with citric and tropic fruit in combination with white wine grapes and some yeast. Very refreshing and fruity flavor, light malt and decent bitter . Medium body. A really nice thirst-quencher but also quite tasty considering less than 4% alcohol. I had a few of this one tonight.

Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen, London on 19th August 2011. Crystal clear gold with yellowish-white frothy head and a lace that travels down with the beer. A rich hoppy aroma which I found to be grassy and a touch cheesy. Rich hoppiness and grassy throughout the liquid-in-mouth phase, but also with a grapefruit highlight and a biscuity malt note. Reqardingly bitter finish and a pleasantly light easy drinking mouthfeel on a fair amount of body.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosse Keys, Covent Garden 14/08/2011. Golden coloured with a thin white head. Big, tropical fruit, gooseberry and pine aroma. Flavour had plenty more fruit, some pine resin and a long, prickly, dry finish. Very good.
