Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy dark brown with an orange hue and a dense and creamy beige leaving some lacework. Heavy hops in the nose combined with some licorice. Medium body, licorice dominates, heavy roast and a very bitter finish. Neat alright. 200312

Cask @ ACBF 2012: slightly murky brown with a close to mocha head, smell is slightly bitter with plenty of grapefruit hops, tropical fruits (sweet) & hint of white berries, taste is lightly bitter & touch watery, blackberries & malts, plenty of berries, melon, pineapple, bready malts, medium bitter finish, not bad

Cask Chocolate brown beer, with B.C."H.". Ureum-rich, fruity hops, exotic fruitaromas. Chocolate malt, hops reduced to blending in and lend a bit of fruityness; melanoidins and a bitter, dry finish. Medium bodied at best, but quite slick, especially backthroat. Good, if unspectacular, well-hopped brown ale.

Cask @ ACBF 2012, Moen.
