Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black licorice; dried dark fruits, treacle; black coffee and dark chocolate
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet dry tone to a subtle roasty tone to slightly bitter; finishes semi-bitter with some earthiness
Texture: medium bodied; sessionable; smooth along the tongue with nothing distracting, good carb
Overall: nice enough English styled stout worth coming back to.

Bought from local supermarket, drank at home. A good London Stout, quite a strong hoppy finish. I will miss drinking stout when spring arrives but hope to get a few more in before the cold weather ends.

Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sweet chocolate, some coffee notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a medium bitter finish. A bit on the thin side. An enjoyable, easy to drink Stout.
