This was poured into a tulip. Bottle dated 06/24/2015.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber to red color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated leaving some light lacing here and there.
The smell had some light sweet citrus running into some caramel malts and then some red apples.
The taste was mainly sweet with a mild bitterness in and around. There’s no aftertaste but it did have a mild citrus to caramel finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping to sessionable quality about it. Carbonation seemed decent and the bitterness was there but it didn’t show a whole lot of strength.
Overall, an okay DIPA, there’s other offerings from this company I’d rather have before this.

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops light mahogany color with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel pine and malt. Taste is somewhat thin for a double IPA with notes of citrus and pine.

Bottle purchased at Hungar Mountain Co-Op. Date on the label reads June 18, 2015. Unexpected amber red color, thin lasting head. Aroma is mostly fruit, sugar and weak pine notes.

The body is meduim with almost no bitterness for a imperial IPA. Even mild bitterness if this was an IPA under 7%. The flavor is very mild, citrus mostly and just a hint of pine toward the backend.
