Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

65cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Bottled on 14.10.2010. Poured slightly hazy amber with a nicely lacing white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, biscuits, malt and weak alcohol. Flavor is malt, grapefruit, hops, biting finish, slightly warming as well. Unfortunately not very fresh anymore. Guess this would have been amazing if I could have gotten a newly bottled one.

Lätt kropp, doft och smak av gräs, citrus, passionsfrukt och smörkola. Relativt snäll efterbeska. tyvärr inte så fresh längre när den nått systemet.

Bottled, Oct. 14, 2010, almost one year old botttle. Beautiful, copperbrown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is tropical fruity, grapefruits, some sweetnes; not very complicated, but this is just great. Taste is fruitfull, some caramel, medium bitterness that dries mouth enoughly and nicely, also bitterness is nicely long lasting. Very smooth and almost velvet like to drink as usual with Great Divide’s beers. This bottle is too old, and the best kick is gone. However, even now, aromatic and fruitfull, balanced and very smooth and enjoyable beer again from Great Divide. If I get more fresh bottle, I’m sure that then the points are in the next level.

Frisch hopfiger, sehr grasiger Antrunk. Gelungenes Bier! 7/10/9/10/11/11

Bottle: Deep golden to copper coloured, slightly hazy, quite stable off-white head; peppery to piney hoppy nose with a caramalty counterpart; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft; moderate lingering spicy-hoppy finish, balanced by sweet malt. Fine stuff...

(bottle, 65.5cl) Hazy, amber colour with a thick and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with notes of biscuits and a fruity and slightly piney and grassy hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mild cara-malty taste with a good dash of piney, herbal and slightly fruity hops; bitter-sweet rounded malty and hoppy finish with a moderate dryness. Pleasant and rounded Ale. 09.III.11

Bottle shared with Duff at the Rake. It pours a dark amber colour with a thin foamy white head. The nose is citrus fruit, roasted malt, hay and grass. It tastes of grass, hay, resin, pine, lemon, orange zest, spruce and some astringency. It’s medium-bodied with an oily texture and has a dry finish. A really drinkable APA.

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a huge white head, wich setles to a thin ring and lots of laces on the glas sides. Aroma of grass, pine, grapefruit. Taste is light grassy hops, some pine. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good tasty beer, but had higher expectations, would love to try a fresh bottle since the hops seems kindof faded. 180311
