Hazy golden colour, good fluffy white head, when the head settles down a layer of yeasty foam remains all the time, good lacing. Sweet yeasty aroma, bread, lemon, grapefruit, coriander. Taste is mix of light sweet, slight sourness and light bitterness, spicy notes. Palate a bit flat, medium body, oily to buttery texture, finish mild bittersweet with sour notes.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket hjemme 7 Jun 13. Strågul. Lavt skinnende hvitt skum som daler. Litt lacing. Svakt krydret aroma. Smaken er forbausende vassen. Litt frukt & nøtter. Forsiktig syrlig avslutning. Litt sedimenter.

Bottle consumed at Het Anker Brewery Tap, Mechelen, Belgium, Saturday 8th February 2014. Pours straw coloured with a slight haze and large white head. Quite a fresh nose, spicey in the mouth, a little bitterness. As Belgian ales go this appears to be on the refreshing, easy going thinnish side, its a jolly pleasant beer and the sort of thing that would be considered sessionable over here. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Ordinary Belgian blond beer, bit boring compared to the other Anker beers. This is just plain average.
