Bottle: (Blue Wax) Rubied-black with a small tan head. Chocolate, bourbon, sassafras aroma. Taste is slightly bitter.....licorice, sassafras root, chocolate malt.......a slight bit of heat and bitterness from the radish.... An interesting flavour....a nicely different twist and mix of elements......

Bottle. Sassafras, orange, bourbon, chocolate malt, radish, and fresh hay aroma. Dark brown with nice tan head. Moderately sweet light sassafras, chocolate malt, bourbon, and moderately bitter dry hay/radish flavor. Nice body. On the plus side, I like the way the radish works with the hops - gives this version some extra bitterness - not unpleasant like I was afraid it would be. But on the negative side, the sassafras flavor is subdued - was hoping it would be more dominant.
