Lots of mango and passion fruit in this. Light finish, with some bitterness. I feel like it lacks a little backbone - if this was a week old it might lose its hops and there wouldn’t be much left like a day before the welfare check comes in. Tap at brewery.

Poured from a crowler. Aroma is super hop forward with a big citra nose. Light cracker malt and wheat notes. Lots of citrus with orange, tangerine and mandarin. Hints of tropical fruit with a light pine resin character. Pours a hazy, pale golden straw color with a large, thick, frothy head that slowly recedes into itself leaving a small film that it thicker on the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a medium light cracker malt and lighter wheat note. Medium to medium high bitterness with a hint of alcohol in the finish. Medium high to high hop flavors with a ton of citrus and a light resinous character in the background. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another nice DIPA from Answer. Great hop notes with a malt character that carries the hops without getting in the way. Not overly bitter so it’s super easy to drink.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy straw with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with malty and fruity notes and estery touches. Sweetish, malt flavour with intense, bitter, hoppy and citric notes and estery touches. Fruity hints. Bitter and estery aftertaste with subtle grassy touches. Nice. I had expected something slightly sweeter, though.
