super dark, small off white head. aroma was very roasty, and malty. with hints of coffee, and chocolate. Very stoutish. Flavour is much of the same, roasted malt, and hint of coffee with a smokey finish, nice stuff!

Bottle from local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, caramel, dark fruits, touch of dark chocolate and liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Pretty nice, did not expect such a tasty coffee flavour.

16/9/2023. Bottle at the Vojens GP beer share. From Notcutts Garden Centre, Woodbridge. Pours clear mahogany brown with a frothy/creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, ash, treacle, dried fruit, mild Christmas spice, touch of liquorice. Medium sweetness, moderate treacle bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Quite enjoyable.
