Draft - Grapefruit and nice pithy notes. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet caramel and some grapefruit hops. Not bad. Brewer told us this isn’t the best batch, so it maybe better down the road.

Tap @ 96th st Indy. Dark pour with decent nose. Not sure the best way to describe this other than its underwhelming for an imperial ipa. Lacks any distinguishing qualities. Still better than a light beer though

Draft: Copper-amber, deep, off-white head. Aroma is spruce, heavy grapefruit peel. Flavour is resiny, peppery.... Good solid bittering. Very decent.

Draft. Sweet orange malt and orange peel/pine aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet orange malt initially with intensely bitter citrus peel/pine flavor. Not bad.

Draft @ Three Fires. Sweet musty orange, caramel, and light piney aroma. Clear copper with a small off-white head. Sweet musty orange, caramel, piney hops, and light alcohol flavor. Medium creamy body, soft carbonation. Nice.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium frothy white head that recedes slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Piney hops aroma with notes of bready malt and citrus in the background. Medium body with a resiny hops character and flavors of grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering caramel aftertaste. Above average overall.

tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy copper and has a big citrus hop aroma with some hints of pine as well. The flavor is dominated by the citrus accented hops and balanced by plenty of backing malts. There are also some notes of caramel and pine. It’s medium to full bodied and very tasty.
