Culebra Cut Coconut Brown

Draft. A- Coconut, almonds, suntan lotion. A- Dark amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Coconut, cocoa, subtle peanut, lotion. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The coconut really makes for an exciting brown ale and exciting+ brown ale usually don't go together. Almost like an almond joy but the cocoa and nuttiness is pretty subdued. Well done and highly drinkable.

Draft - Lots of toasted coconut and some chocolate. Deep cloudy brown with a decent white head. Toasted count and cocoa. Mares trained and very nice, a coconut forward beer.

Draft - pours brown white head -nose/taste of toasted coconut, caramel and light chocolate - medium body

Sample at the brewpub. Opaque dark brown color with a medium thick beige head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coconut and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of toasted coconut, milk chocolate and a bit of coffee. The finish is roasty coconut and coffee. Above average overall.
