On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, dark chocolate, bourbon. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla, boozy finish, very nice.

Sample at the taproom as part of Ohio Brew Week on 07/22/2017. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing. Bourbon, malt and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of bourbon, roast malt and a touch of funky fruit. The finish is oaky and roasty with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft - Dark roasty cherry with some sour notes. Jet black with a small beige head. Sweet, cherry and light roasty notes. Funky, sour and dark.
