Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Clear amber beer, big cream coloured head. Smooth creamy malt. Lovely rich fruity hops with mild skunk and semi bitter pine. Rich marmalade. Semi dry finish. Good show!

33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a nice, creamy, small bubbles beige head; nice lacework and decent lasting with a thin layer until finishing the beer. Aroma is strong hoppy, light citrus hints and malty. Flavor is dominated by Columbus hops, cittrus and resins notes. The aftertaste is strong bittery in the nose and the mouth, alcoholic sensation and dense on palate. Carbonation is low to medium. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a creamy, white head. Big pine nose, some sugary citrus fruits, pectin. Big sweet flavor with caramel, semi-dark sugars, a bit of pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with some decent piney bitterness, some dry caramel, orange, other citrus. Not bad.
