Tap at TCBW.Pours dark brown. Aroma is roast, malt, some bread, and slight sourness. Flavor is sweet and bitter with slight sour notes, roast, malt. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: ok, chocolate & vanilla version was noticeably enjoyable.

Draft @ Pudel, Edge tap takeover night. Noire, brune foncée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez malté, chocolaté, léger rétro adouci. Palais est malté, caramel, pas mal de chocolaté avec une petite note adoucie de vanille procurant une certaine douceur persistante en fin de bouche. Retrouve un léger houblonné qui apporte une note de pin et agrumes. Correcte mais devient un peu trop douce sur la fin.

Bottle from Firma Bier, BB 02-Jun-16, large sample. Dark color, medium frothy brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark fruit, bit caramel fudge, some ashy smoke, mocha, cherry marmelade, olives, bay leaves, walnuts. Lots of dry dark fruit in taste, raisin, roasty bitterness, some licorice. Interesting stuff, as it is totally not like a lot of other american style porters.

schenkt zwart met fijne kaki kraag. aroma van mout, zoet, chocolade, geroosterde mout en vanille. Smaken zijn redelijk aan de zoete kant, matig bitter, sterk, zwak fruitig, redelijk moutig van oa geroosterde mouten, verder melkchocolade, vanille, iets bittter, redelijke tot volle body, romig en glad van textuur, maar vooral veel melkchocolade in het aroma en de smaak... ja was hier wel tevreden over..

Black with thick beige head. Light roasted aroma with notes of hops and chocolate. Chocolate and light hop flavour. Perhaps some vanilla notes. Creamy, fluffy mouthfeel, smooth with roasted and medium bitter finish. Nice porter.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, little coffee, sweetness, light vanilla. Flavor is rather sweet, malty, sweet chocolate, vanilla, light wood cocoa. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish. 011115
