Bottle from jtclockwork for krampus. Thanks? Poured into my fancy-ass kbs glass because I can. Pours a super dark orange, like if a citrus fruit got its jugular sliced...except there are some big ol white chunks floating around in there. Seriously dude, what did you do to me. Aroma is not even good. I get a very slight hint of pomegranate, but it’s mostly green apple, grains and cotton candy. This is like a shitty malt likka with a drunken bird on the label. Taste is sweet. I think I get a bit of pomegranate but I’m not sure, because my tongue is immediately attacked by caramel, green apple, grains and burning. I feel like I just melted a bunch of caramel on the stove, thought about letting it cool, then just said "fuck it, I’m gonna drink this boiling shit" . My god! You know this has to come from Lithuania because I’m pretty sure the FDA would make this illegal if it was made here. I’m not going to rate this anymore, because there is absolutely no need to go further in depth about how bad it is. I will tell you though, I’m gonna finish this bottle...and I’m gonna do it for 2 reasons. 1) it was a gift, and you can’t throw away a heartfelt gift from someone no matter how shitty it is. 2)I’m entirely convinced this is not a fruit beer, but it is actually a malt likka wearing fruit beer clothing...and you leave no likka behind! EDIT: so the bottom of the bottle had like a half inch of straight up grey sludge...seriously, WTF? Original rating of 1.8, after finishing the bottle I couldn’t in good conscience leave it that high. Still better that Royal Challenge though.

This gem was shared by Butters at the 17th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 1/28/12. Pours a clear pale amber color with a thin head that quickly fades. Aroma of sweet fruit notes and booze. The taste is sweet citrus and berry notes and a medicinal quality. Medium bodied.
