Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong floral presence with some sweet grain and a bit of light fruit underlying. Flavor is also fruit forward with sweet grains and a bit light fruits in the finish.

On tap at Brasserie Saint James, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, light esters and a hint of bubblegum. Flavour is fairly dry, with rustic saison yeast, gentle bugginess and crisp biscuity malt. Rustic and lightly buggy, with a nice balance and dry finish. Very solid.

Effervescent pale golden with a white head. Spicy pepper, earth, lemon, mild sweetness. Finish has lemon and some tang. The pepper leave a hefty hot bite in the tongue. Nice.

Good beer, drink it. One of the best saisons I’ve ever had. It’s clean and light, yet bold and flavourful. Highly recommend. Brassiere St. James SF.
