Pours red with a small white head. It smells of tart cherries. The flavor is lightly tart with cherries, malt, and some salt. It’s tasty and easy to drink.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the Bowling Green Beer Works Columbus Debut event on 02/28/2020. Clear ruby-red color with a thin pinkish-white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Cherry, wheat and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of salty cherry, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart with a cherry and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Lactic cherry, light smoke, salt, and biscuit malt aroma. Ruby red with minimal head. Lightly sweet cherry, biscuit malt, mild salt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Okay body.

750mL bottle, fresh, drunk 5/26/16.
Light, cranberry-pink with some deeper cherry flesh hues throughout. Not horribly hazy, but definitely still a light cloudiness to it despite a careful pour. Pink-tinged head atop is flimsy and recedes to a ring quickly.
Not much salinity from the nose but rather, a huge cherry flesh character, authentic and meaty and just bursting with raw fruit power. A bit of coriander provides some interesting complexities as it mixes together with the cherries well. No alcohol or flaw. Very low intensity on the actual beer aspects. Perhaps some cream-of-wheat-like characteristics with low lactic presence.
Unwavering cherry juice character from start to finish, with a low but fairly tight carbonation and slick, wheat-driven texture. Light vanilla, coriander, biscuit and a moderate saltiness on the finish, more of an afterthought. On one hand I want quite a bit more tartness and salinity, but on the other, you can’t deny it’s a very accessible, fruit-forward and well-brewed beer.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings light fades cherries and light salt. Flavour is along the same lines, with faded sour cherries, some salt and a little vinegar. Fairly cohesive and well-balanced. Very nice avant-garde gose.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque pink with a small, white head. Nose doesn’t reveal an awful lot, tartness alright, but no real cherry. Body is light, fizzy. Tart and slightly salty alright and now the cherries really come through blending well into the tartness of the base beer. Everything is well balanced here, nothing overdone. Only very late do i pick up that almond/ baking yeast/ sulphur that often disturb these styles. But generally very fresh and quaffable. 120815
