In Tillamook Bay, Oregon’s rich dairylands run parallel to the scenic sandy beaches and rocky windswept cliffs carved by the Pacific Ocean. We’ve brewed and bottle conditioned this Belgian-Style golden ale to reflect the Oregon Coast’s inspiring landscape & unique heritage.
Golden Pelican features an herbal, fruity and hoppy aroma, bright gold color, and a clean dry finish. Brewed as the first entry to our quarterly Belgian-Style release, Golden Pelican uses malted rye to emphasize the balanced spicy character inherent in the "Farmhouse" yeast. Generously dry-hopped with Aramis hops, the fresh herbal nose marries with the yeast-driven fruity/spicy aromas. A lean-bodied, toasty malt character supports copious amounts of hop flavor. Golden Pelican finishes with a clean, snappy balance of malt flavor, hop bitterness, and slightly tart, spicy yeast character.

This is a slightly hazy yellow. No head on the pour and tiny lacing. It has a bright grapefruit and kiwi aroma. Good carbonation. Mouth swish reveals some peach, Apple and pine. Bitter with a great yeast profile. Finish is bitter and citrus

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, coriander, nice and Herbaceous. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light curacao, coriander, light perfumy notes, classic Belgian style. Bottle at ratebeer Quebec gathering 2016.

Capped 750 from Belmont Station. Pour is hazy orange tinged gold with an off-white head. Aroma is mixed hop/fruit, but tinned pineapple is discernible. Med body, at least. Flavor matches aroma, but hints of leather and tobacco seem present. Earthy. Complex, interesting and tasty. Finishes fruit bitter and not quite dry.

750ml bottle. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a long lasting sand head. Nose is spice banana bread clove and a nice citrus hop touch. Taste is more of the banana clove spice a little perfume and a hoppy bitterness on the end.
