Brewed with coffee roasted by small, local roasteries. This delightful golden ale is blended with cold brew coffee and subtle citrus notes. Rise & Shine!

12oz bottle. Poured a kind of hazy dark orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light green coffee notes. Some sweet malts. Light green pepper notes. Flavor was light sweet malts, not a lot of coffee, just a little bit. Coffee is not overdone, which is nice.

On tap at the brewery pours a murky orange brown with a ring of fizzy, white head. Nose has blonde coffee, some turbinado sugar, light toffee, green coffee cherries, some bell pepper. Flavor has coffee grounds and green peppercorns, some honey, a little lemon lime soda. Dry finish. Interesting.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 6/6/16. Clear copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, ashy coffee grounds, pale malt, weird vanilla notes. The taste is coffee, pale malt, an odd herbal note, almost dandelion but not quite. Thin. Back to the drawing board please.

Bottle from Kroger. I saw coffee ale and immediately thought this was going to be a stout. Silly me. So the gold pour shocks me. Small white head. Aroma of pine, cat piss, coffee. Flavor is interesting.... Tastes like very light coffee, watered down, with bits of caramel, vanilla, citrus, and pine. I think I like this but wish it was a wee bit stronger.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, light coffee. Tastes of citrus up front, light tropical fruit, light but roasty coffee on the backend. Medium-light body with a semi-dry finish. Solid coffee pale ale.

Draft: Milk chocolate, coffee, lemongrass aroma. Clear amber, thin head, good lacing.Milk chocolate, hazelnut, lemongrass. Toblerone and hops if you can imagine. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice layering and complexity. Kind of weird, but in a good way. I feel like I’ve used that exact phrase about a different Parkway beer.
