Another witbier-based fruit beer, with light pink head and deep ruby red colour. Very sweet, artificial cherry jam, juice and extracts with loads of sugar and lemonade-like ascorbic acid, cloying and one-dimensional with only a vague presence of sourish wheat. Boring and sickly sweet.

Nice color of jelly in the cherry, short pinkish foam. Fruity aromas of cherry, jam, acidulity pointed.

Dunkelrötliches Bier mit geringer pinker Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr süß nach Kirschen, was schon künstliche Aromen, Zucker, so ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottled. Red colour, small pinkish/white head which leaves some lace. My bottle managed to be a gusher (!). Very sweet sugary notes with some syrup and quite much cherry (a bit artificial) notes. Flavour is very similar and ends rather sticky sweet.

25 cl. bottle @ home from ALBO. BBF 04/04/2014. Drank ice-cold. Pours stereotypical bright cherry candy colour with non-lasting pink head. Smells exactly like something like Haribo cherry candy, zilch anything else, interesting. Taste is cherry candy, grenadine, lots of chemical sweeteners taking over 15 % into the taste, they sting a bit in the finish leaving an aftertaste in your mouth and the whole finishes with a very harsh metallic zinging aftertaste. Slightly syrupy, additive heavy body. Makes me think a bit of Floris kriek if I remember correctly, most of this concoctions are not terribly different, usually only the taste of the artificial sweeteners varies a bit in the back. Not that bad for its kind but still tasting the artificial sweeteners a bit too much which I do like.

Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is red. Aroma and taste are rich cherries, malt, sugar and hops. Very sweet and artificial, but I love it anyway.

Bottle at Het Spijker, Gent. Red colour with a pinkish head. Cherry aroma. Sweet cherry flavour. A bit too sweet and not really any flavours except cherry.

Bottle at Ter Halle Gritt (restaurant), Brugge - 01/12/12. Thanks to Suzanne for the pour. Pale claret with a frothy crimson pink head that retains well. Lacing is good. Nose is big time cherry drops. Not much else to report ! Taste follows, sugary sweetness - too much so. All cherry drop, sugar, cherry. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, sweet finish. One trick pony, all cherry and sugar, no balance, not good.
