On tap at the source. Pour a deep red, with a small pink head. Aroma is straight up cherry jolly ranchers. Nothing else. Just candy. Mouth feel is thin, carb is almost flat. Finish is slightly tart, and semi sweet. This is just juice.

Bottle at home. Aroma is slightly tart and rather sweet artificial cherry, sugar, bubblegum, cherry candy. Flavour is sugary sweet and slightly tart. Body is light. Very artificial and sugary, not for me!

Bottle at Rock Cafe, Leuven: Steal an zip of my wife's glass. Clear dark red colored brew with an acceptable sweet cherry taste, not bad its drinks very smoothly.

mahogany to ruby colour, medium sized creamy pinkish ecru head; aroma of dried cherry, some marzipan and minimal acidic notes; taste is fully dominated by syrupy-dried cherry sweetness with some minimal marzipan; unbalancedly sweet, but still drinkable

0.25 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before September 2020. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, fairly fruity, slightly astringent and a bit spicy aroma of cherry juice, almond and some coriander. Fairly sweet, slightly bitter, rather fruity, a bit artificial and moderately spicy taste of cherry juice, almond and coriander, followed by a short, slightly bitter, gently spicy finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Way too sweet, even a bit artificial, not overly enjoyable but also not a disaster.

Clear red. Cherry juice and mint both in aroma and flavor. Sugary sweet. Minty aftertaste. Not unpleasant, but I can’t taste beer.

Vom Fass im Mezzanine in Leuven/Belgien 2018-08 getrunken. Huch ist das süß! Wer trinkt ein süßes Kriek? Dazu sind die Aromen deutlich künstlich. Nee, nee so was kommt mir nicht mehr ins Glas.
