Can. Pours black with a light grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of cinnamon and sweet chocolate with a touch of dark grains underlying. Flavor is also a combination of cinnamon and creamy chocolate with just a hint of dark grains backing.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown foam that lingers. Big cinnamon focused nose with cacao nib, baker's chocolate and brownie notes. Pretty thick body with lots of cinnamon and chocolate brownie flavors. Smooth and rich with a lingering cinnamon finish. Really nice.

750 ml bottle into snifter, bottled in 3/2016. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1-2 finger dense dark tan head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toffee, toasted dark bread, cream, smoke, char, herbal, pine, and roast/char earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose/spices, and moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toffee, toasted dark bread, cream, smoke, char, herbal, pine, and roast/char earthiness. Moderate herbal/pine and roast/char bitterness, and light cinnamon spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toffee, toasted dark bread, cream, smoke, char, herbal, pine, and roast/char earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose/spices, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero astringent hop/roast flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from hop/roast bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent spiced imperial stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose/spices, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to sip on for the big ABV. This had a nice amount of creme brulee qualities, but feels more like a Russian imperial stout on roast/bitterness. Nice cinnamon presence that is not overdone. A very enjoyable offering.
