Draft. A- Bourbon, cocoa. A- Dark brown red color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Cocoa, red wine. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Balanced and quite lovely. Not a lot of the saison taste rather lots of the cask aging and whiskey barrel. Good and unique.

Refrigerated 12.7 oz brown bottle corked and caged poured into a Trappist glass. Black with small dark brown highlights and small beige head. Aroma is dark malt & wood, medium body, lower carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is dark malt, dark fruit (mostly dates), some wood, some whiskey, a little booze, and a little ash. This is not a saison.

This beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oaky vanilla, fruit and yeast. Full-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, whiskey, dark fruit and malt. The finish is oaky and mildly boozy with a fruit and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.
