12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 6/1/2015. Pours slightly hazy bright golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, cracker, biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly sticky, and slightly grainy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a really excellent German Pilsener style. All around great robustness and balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle at Winking Lizard. Pours a clear bright yellow-gold color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates gradually. Small patches of lacing. Herbal hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of mildly spicy hops, yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was malty cardboard, grass and faint perfume. The flavor was grass, perfume, was rather bitter and vaguely off. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.

Clear pale yellah. Do I detect a slight fruity lemon aroma? First taste evolves. Starts off fruity then that old country pilsner sharp pilsner bite sneaks up and bites you in the ass. Quite enjoyable fer sure or is that my company? Does not make you pucker like so many others. Balanced and easier for the most part. Good job overall and a decent finish with a little lingering pilsner bite. .
