From Het Warm Water in Brussels. Given how good the other Girardin beers are, this was a bit of a disappointment. Orange gold colour. Very cereal on aroma. Perfumed bitterness on finish. Don’t like the malts much or the finish.

Bottle. It’s an almost clear, golden beer with a minimal white head. Sugary nose, more or less like a fruit syrup, with a hint of cellar and a distinct dry malt touch in the far back. It’s quite dry on the palate, with syrupy sweetness, some peach and pineapple, and a little pale malts and bitterness. Sharper bitterness in the very end, but still not enough to cope with the sweetness. Full body. Overall it’s too muc on the sugary side, but it’s a decent beer. (090722)

Bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours a clear golden with a small bubbly head. Caramel, bread, corn, sweet, citric, watery. As it warms it gets better - less rubber and corn. I bought it cause it was a Girardin brew.

bottle, from ølbutikken, shared with faroeviking in the woods of allerød, in the sunshine, to celebrate my 2 yrs on ratebeer. This bottle had no best before date, so i rated it as soon as possible, still it seems to be old, or just a boring beer. dark yellow, small thick white head. aroma is spritty, slightly fruity. flavor is caramel, stale beer, bread. taste and smell is like old beer.

25 cL bottle (5 x a "Københavner"), trade with HenrikSoegaard. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is phenolic yeasty and slight wooden. Dry malt flavoured, roasted and dark breadish. Has oxidised like notes from the dark malt flavours. I get no residual sweetness from this at all. Ends with a light mould touch. Strange one.

(25cl bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a firm and thick foamy white head. Sweet malty, herbal and slightly floral hoppy aroma with notes of apricots, citrus and honey. Sweet flavour, malty, slightly wheaty taste, fruity with a light hoppy background; sweet malty finish, slightly spicy and yeasty with a very shy bitterness. Pleasant, tastes more like a Belgian Ale than a Pilsener.
