Can from my advent calendar. Dark brown, Ruby pour, with a medium off white head. Boozy, dark fruit, caramelized sugars, a little wood, and earthy. Mouth feel is nice, carb is very low. Lightly bitter, big fruit, and boozy sherry notes, and a Candi sugar finish. Not bad, not great.

Prune, leather and cherry barrel. Clear maroon pour without head or lacing. Boozy end. Tap at downtown location.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, fizzy off-white head fades to ring. Aroma is raisins, anise, prunes. Taste is sweet and malty, Belgian yeast, pit fruit, black cherry. Alcohol warmth rises at the back.
A bit hazy and muddy. But some of the flavours are top notch. But it just isn’t as rich and clean and it ought to be. Sk adventkal

355ml can. Pours a hazy ruby-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, raisin, toffee, candi sugar and spice. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, molasses, cherry, raisin, plum, candi sugar, Belgian yeast and cinnamon in a sweet, warming booze finish. Medium to full body with a sticky, syrupy texture and average carbonation. A little sweet, but nice complexity. Would make a good dessert beer.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a large foamy tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, yeast and smooth dark, but not burnt, malt. Approaching full bodied, but not there. Flavor is sweet malt, somewhat roasty/toasty, raisin, plum, yeast and something sugary. Can't find any spice. Not dry, but there is bitterness. Not exactly a plummy quad, but not far off that ideal. Nice drink.

Pours dark amber with a small, lingering head. It smells of malt, Belgian yeast, and dark fruit. The flavor is sweet with spicy yeast and dark fruit. It's a very tasty, solid beer though not outstanding.

12 ounce can from Village Sagamore Pkwy, 1/31/20. Drinking to celebrate just having filed my tax return! Dark brown, large foamy tan head. Aroma of banana bread, dates, toffee. Taste is banana, caramel, toffee, plum, mild spice. Full bodied, oily, a mild bit of booze. Overall quite nice.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy orange-brown head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with toffee, cherry, raisin and brandy. The flavor was sweet with cherry, raisin, fig, toffee, a bit of alcohol and brandy. Long finish. Medium body.
