Cask at The Market Porter, London. A medicinal aroma? Something different. Amber color with an off-white head. Rich reddish amber color. Medium body with mild carbonation. A big pale stone fruit flavor with a little herb or mild spice. Almost suggests a bit of melon. Different. Good. Impressive.

On draught at the Blue Anchor: Amber coloured, thin fluffy layer; fruity (fruit-cake) and malty nose; gentle sweetish-malty taste becoming drier towards the the bitter, vinous, herbal finish; O.K., but not a sensation......

Bottled (4.8%). Orange-amber, firm rocky head. Yeasty melon aroma. Dryish and medium bodied, fairly watery mouthfeel. Really minerally. Low bitterness.
