Bottle from local Sainsburys. Roasted malts and chocolate give an attractive aroma. Pours very dark brown with a medium frothy beige head. A brief hint of chocolate in the mouth before liquorice, coffee and roasted malts give a mainly bitter impression. Some chocolate comes back in the finish. Very nice and drinkable, but a little bit thin in the body.

Creamy dark tan head stayed on a still black body. Bitter coffee & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with sharp clean back. Malt, bitter hops, chocolate & roasted tastes with a tangy fruity finish.
