We've used loads of hops from North America - Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra and Cascade - because we just love the bold aromas they bring to the beer. To balance out all this hoppy goodness we've added lots of Rye, plus some pale ale and cara malt

Pours a clear but quite dark amber color, topped with a very moderate off color white head, The aroma is very pleasant - citrusy malts and some caramel are easily picked up. The taste is nicely bitter with some fruity addition. Can’t really taste the rye, but still. Another decent Adnams brew.

On tap at John Bull, Aalborg. It pours a clear copper colored body under a small, off-white head. The aroma is sure on the malty side, bready and with some dried fruits. There’s not much hops, but some are present, mint, grass and some resin. The flavor is equally bready, but there’s much more hops. A nice bitterness too. Full body, quite dry on the palate. Soft carbonation. Lasting finish with a good bitterness. Way too bready this one. 140302

Draught. Murky caramel with medium head, excellent lacing. Light sweet hop nose and flavour. Fruity, the rye tones the hop nicely.
