Sanda Blonde is a light golden IPA with aromas of grapefruit and passion fruit. Flavors of gooseberry and citrus fruits are prevalent with a good citrus and hop bitterness to making it a deliciously easy drinking IPA.
Trivia: Sanda gets its name from the Sanda lighthouse, located off the southern tip of the Mull of Kintyre in southwestern Scotland.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is a little citrus fruit and malt. The flavour is medium bitter with some liqourice on the rather uninteresting palate. Needs to be cooled a little more to be tasty IMO which isn’t a good sign. A little and bland the bitterness wasn’t pleasant.

330ml Bottle (EBBC 2013 Edinburgh) - Golden in colour. Hoppy aroma with notes of tea and lemon. Very refreshing taste with notes of tangy grapefruit and tea detected.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with a decent head that sticks around. The nose is citrus but with an underlying creamy note - some sort of lemon custard thing going on for me. The taste gives more of the same - nicely hoppy but not palate ripping. The palate is close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a zingy finish. Overall, it’s another good beer from Fyne.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 20/11/12. Lightly hazed mid golden with a medium sized frothy white head that retains well. Nose is fresh hops, pineapple, light caramel malt, orchard fruits. Taste follows, hops, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, bitter finish. Decent.

Half pint, cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Cloudy golden body. Firm white head slowly fading. Fresh aroma of flowers and fruit. Fresh taste of citrus with grapefruits up front. Dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Smooth and fresh on the swallow. Well made (shared with Finn, London, 01.11.2012).

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and crisp citrusy to grapefruity hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and grapefruity. Bitter and dry citrusy. Dry and bitter into a citrusy finish.

Bottle from Oddbins. Hazy golden body with a small, white head. Good lacing. Aroma of creamy malt and tangy citrus hops. Flavour of pineapple, grapefruit and pale malt. Medium body with a slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A tad heavy on the creamy malt.
